Oil Mania is a 5 reel slot that has up to 25 paylines, these can be adjusted in the bet settings and you can play as low as 1 payline if you wish. You can also alter the bet per line, this gives you the option to start spinning the reels for as little as 1 cent and there are various stakes to suit all players before reaching the maximum bet of a massive €250 a spin!
You have the choice to gamble any wins that you manage to achieve during your gameplay via the cards, guessing the next coloured card correctly will double your current win, whilst choosing the next suit correctly will multiply your current win by 4.
If you would like to take a look at what the best paying symbols are, then I've added the paytable above for you to check out.
CARD GAMBLE ON OIL MANIA
OIL TYCOON LANDING TO TRIGGER THE UPWILD FEATURE
BOTTOM POSITION ON THE REEL TURNING WILD
To trigger the upwild feature you need one of the oil tycoon symbols to land anywhere in view on reels 2, 3 or 4, these are the only reels that this symbol appears on.
Once the symbol has landed you will be awarded with 3 free spins. Whichever reel the tycoon landed on the bottom position will start off as a wild for the 1st spin, as the feature progresses the oil shoots from the well to cover 2 positions and then for the 3rd spin the reel becomes fully wild.
2 POSITIONS ON THE REEL WILD
OIL SHOOTING UP TO MAKE THE REEL FULLY WILD
During the upwild feature it's possible for another tycoon symbol to land on one of the other eligible reels, if this happens then your free spin amount will be reset to 3 and the feature will continue.
If these drop in early enough into your free spins, then it is possible to get a good covering of wilds across reels 2, 3 and 4, this will give you a good chance of hitting a really good payline.
OIL MANIA SLOT REVIEW FINAL THOUGHTS
I've played Oil Mania on both desktop and mobile, the desktop version is a lot better to play, it has some catchy music whilst you are playing and the gamble feature is available for you to use, the mobile version has neither of these.
I enjoyed this slot and the upwild feature is quite apt how the oil shoots up to cover the reel with wilds, I haven't had many re-triggers on this but you don't always need more than 1 reel with wilds on to hit a high paying line.
It's also worth playing around with the amount of lines you want to spin with and the bet per line, the wins pay a multiple of your bet per line, so it can be an idea to have less paylines and to increase your line bet, this will keep your overall stake the same but any wins you hit will pay more.
